COMMON QUESTIONS
What exactly is advisory? Is this coaching? Consulting?
It's neither — and both. I'm your trusted thinking partner. I don't do the work for you (that's what Marshal is for), and I'm not just asking you how that makes you feel. I bring real operator experience, a toolkit of frameworks, and the ability to read the situation and know when you need a question vs. when you need an answer.
Do you take equity or rev-share?
No. Monthly fee, cancel anytime. I want my incentive to be making you successful enough to keep paying me, not owning a piece of something I'm not building.
How long do clients typically stay?
Most people start weekly and move to monthly after 3–4 months once they've built momentum. Some stay weekly for a year. It depends on what you're going through.
What does async access actually look like?
Slack DMs and Loom videos, Monday–Friday. You send me a question, a decision you're wrestling with, or a Loom walking through something — I respond thoughtfully, usually within a few hours. It's not a chatbot. It's me.
What if I want to cancel?
Month-to-month. Cancel any time. No end-of-contract fees, no clawback, no awkward exit convo. If something's not working, I'd rather end it clean than drag it out.
How fast can we start?
Usually within a week. Intro call first, then I send a short onboarding Loom so you know how to use the Slack + Loom setup, and we pick a recurring call time that works. First real session typically within 7 days of the intro.
Does this work for my industry?
Core fit is DTC ecommerce + agencies serving DTC + ecommerce SaaS. If you're adjacent — B2B SaaS founder, creator business, service firm — the frameworks still transfer, but the intro call is the right filter, not this FAQ. If it's not a fit, I'll tell you on the call.
Ready to think out loud?
30-minute intro call. Free. No pitch. We'll figure out if this is the right fit — and if it's not, I'll tell you.
