Creator Operations

Ongoing creator-program execution for consumer brands

Turn creator posts into a usable supply of creative.

I run the operating layer between creator sourcing and paid media: samples, follow-up, usage rights, asset organization, paid handoff, performance feedback, and reactivation.

Outcome
A creator workflow your team can see, run, and improve
After the initial period

Start with 90 days. Then I can keep operating it—or transfer it to your team.

The starting point

Creators are posting. The useful work after the post is falling apart inside DMs, spreadsheets, and Drive folders.

Creator Operations turns creator activity into a reliable source of paid-ready creative without asking your team to coordinate every handoff from memory.

What changes

A visible creator operation that I can keep running—or your team can take over.

TodayWith it running

Creator lists across tools

One record of every creator, status, asset, and next action

Samples without ownership

Defined stages, owners, and follow-up rules

Rights checked reactively

Permission status recorded on every usable asset

Assets without context

A searchable, tagged creator library

Informal paid handoff

A paid-ready queue with the context media buyers need

Winners that disappear

Performance feedback that informs reactivation and sourcing

The working flow

  1. Source
  2. Sample
  3. Follow up
  4. Capture content

What I own

One person responsible for making the work run.

I own the operating layer from the first workflow map through the weekly operation.

  • Map the current creator workflow and find where work stalls.
  • Define stages, fields, owners, decision rules, and exceptions.
  • Run sourcing, sampling, outreach, follow-up, and reactivation to your criteria.
  • Capture content and record permission status.
  • Organize usable assets and route them to organic and paid teams.
  • Run the review cadence, document decisions, and keep the system moving.

Your team retains final approval over creators, brand, spend, usage terms, and legal decisions.

The actual work

What gets built and used.

These are working parts of the service—not a document dump at the end.

Creator control center

  • Creator criteria and sourcing brief
  • Live creator and sample tracker
  • Outreach, follow-up, and reactivation workflows

Usable asset supply

  • Rights register
  • Tagged creator library
  • Paid-ready queue and handoff template

Operating continuity

  • Weekly review and exception list
  • SOP and ownership map
  • A clear ongoing scope—or a documented team handoff

The plan

The initial 90 days.

  1. 01

    Days 1–30

    Map and control

Make the current program visible and establish the rules.

    • Audit the workflow and capture in-flight creators.
    • Define stages, ownership, permissions, and paid handoff.
    • Build the shared operating system.
  2. 02

    Days 31–60

    Run and route

Operate the system and repair the handoffs under real conditions.

    • Manage sourcing, sampling, follow-up, and exceptions.
    • Tag assets and record permissions.
    • Move usable creative into the paid-ready queue.
  3. 03

    Days 61–90

    Stabilize and choose what’s next

Close the performance loop and decide how the operation continues.

    • Use performance feedback to reactivate and rebrief.
    • Document rules, exceptions, and the review cadence.
    • Choose the next model: keep Matt operating it or transfer it to your team.

What happens next

I can keep running creator operations.

The initial 90 days get the work under control and establish a real cadence. If you still need an external operator, I can continue under a clear monthly scope. If you are ready to bring it in-house, I can train an owner and transfer the working system.

Relevant operating proof

Evidence for the kind of work—not a borrowed promise.

Matt took over the coordination chaos that was eating our team’s time. Within the first month, every source and destination was mapped, and nothing sits idle anymore.Richie Mashiko · CEO, She’s Birdie

This is evidence of operational coordination and workflow improvement—not a guarantee of creator output, revenue, or media performance.

Your side of the table

What your team provides.

Good fit

  • Creator activity exists—or is ready to begin—and coordination is the constraint.
  • You send enough product or receive enough content that memory and spreadsheets are failing.
  • Organic and paid teams need a more dependable supply of usable assets.
  • You can provide access, approved terms, and an internal point person.
  • You want the operation run—not merely designed.

Not a fit

  • You need a one-off influencer campaign.
  • You need talent management or celebrity representation.
  • You want a strategy deck without implementation.
  • You have no product, sampling capacity, or creator budget.
  • You need guaranteed posts, revenue, or ROAS.
  • You need legal counsel to create usage terms.

Questions

Before you book.

Is this an influencer agency?

No. This is the operating layer that connects creator sourcing, samples, content, rights, and paid handoff. Your team keeps the brand and commercial decisions.

Do you find and communicate with creators?

Yes. I can run sourcing, outreach, follow-up, and reactivation against criteria we agree on with your team.

Does this include editing or paid media buying?

The base engagement prepares and routes usable assets. Large-scale editing and media buying are separate scopes if the workflow requires them.

Do you negotiate usage rights?

I coordinate and record permissions using terms your team has approved. Legal interpretation and final contract approval stay with you and your counsel.

What sits outside the fee?

Creator compensation, product, shipping, media spend, special software, production, and legal costs remain client expenses.

What happens after 90 days?

Two paths are valid. I can keep operating creator sourcing, follow-up, rights, assets, and review under an ongoing monthly scope. Or, when you are ready, I can train an internal owner and transfer the working system.

Ongoing advisory

Want ongoing judgment while your team runs the work?

Advisory is for decisions, prioritization, and accountability. If you want me inside the execution, start with one of the projects above.

Stop losing the work after the post.

Bring the current creator process—or the current mess. We’ll identify where content is stalling and whether a 90-day starting engagement is the right way to get it moving.
